Quarantine: Countries that could be added or removed from travel corridor list tomorrow | Travel News | Travel

Africa

Countries in Africa have remained absent from the travel corridor list in recent months.

Currently, South Africa is recording 19.6 cases per 100,000 people over a seven-day period.

But other nations on the continent are recording even fewer than this.

UAE

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are a popular winter destination with Britons.

The UAE is currently absent from the UK’s travel corridor list, with Britons expected to quarantine on their return to the UK.

However, the UAE is recording 99.5 cases per 100,000 people over a seven-day period, putting it in the “amber zone”.

It was announced yesterday that plans are also being discussed to introduce a travel corridor between London and Dubai.
